10-JUN-2009: Directors reassure Gorings Mead residents

Horsham directors Kevin Borrett, John Lines and Tim Hewlett held a question and answer session with residents of Gorings Mead last night during which Hewlett, Horsham Football Club's Health & Safety Officer, explained the proposed matchday crowd stewarding and traffic calming measures to a large enquiring audience of residents who were keen to hear how the Club intended to avoid causing disruption and nuisance during their groundshare with YMCA. Hewlett confirmed that matchday parking at Gorings Mead would be limited to officials, the disabled, and a small number of parking season ticket holders only. There will be a number of opportunities for supporters to assist with stewarding and other duties when the new season commences.
